Vaping, also known as using electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) or vape pens, has become increasingly popular in recent years as an alternative to traditional smoking. Unlike traditional cigarettes, which burn tobacco to create smoke, vaping devices heat a liquid, called e-liquid, to create a vapor that can be inhaled. One of the main advantages of vaping over smoking is that it’s considered to be less harmful to your health. Additionally, vaping allows for a more customizable experience, as users can choose from a wide variety of e-liquid flavors and nicotine levels. But, with a variety of devices and e-liquids available, it can be a little overwhelming to know where to get started. Thankfully, our five-step guide will provide you with everything you need to know to get started.
Get Your Vaping Device
First, you’ll need to purchase a vaping device, also known as an e-cigarette or vape pen. These can be found at most convenience stores, smoke shops, and online retailers. When purchasing a device, there are several different types to choose from:
- Cigalikes: These devices closely resemble traditional cigarettes and are the most basic type of e-cigarette. The Cigalike is a great option for beginners or those looking for a low-cost option.
- Vape Pens: These devices are larger than Cigalikes and offer more advanced features such as variable wattage and temperature control. They are typically rechargeable and require the purchase of separate e-liquid cartridges.
- Mods: These devices are the most advanced type of e-cigarette and are typically used by experienced vapers. They offer a wide range of features and can be customized to suit the user’s preferences. They are typically more expensive than Cigalikes or vape pens and require more maintenance.
Decide On An E-Liquid
Once you have your device, you will need to purchase e-liquid, also known as vape juice. This liquid is typically made up of propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG), flavorings, and nicotine (if desired). Propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG) are the main ingredients in e-liquid. PG is a thin, odorless liquid that provides a strong throat hit, similar to that of traditional cigarettes. VG is a thicker liquid that provides a smoother inhale and produces more vapor. E-liquids can be made with a variety of PG/VG ratios, and the ratio can affect the flavor and throat hit of the e-liquid.

Fill The E-Cigarette
