The easiest way to clean moldy dishes

If you have ever had the displeasure of encountering mold on your dishes, you know that it is not an easy task to clean them. Not only does the mold make your dishes look gross, but it can also be dangerous to your health.

Get rid of bacteria and food stains using these simple tricks

Dishwashers are one of the best things invented. Not only do they make dishwashing faster, but they can also get dishes much cleaner than if you washed them by hand. However, if your dishwasher isn’t getting your dishes clean, it might be because of mold. Yes, that black stuff that grows on your dishes if you let them sit in your sink for too long can also grow inside your dishwasher. But, how to clean moldy dishes? Don’t worry, there are a few easy ways to do so.

First, check the detergent compartment of your dishwasher to make sure it is clean. If necessary, run an empty load with dishwasher cleaner or vinegar. This should take care of the issue.

If that doesn’t work, you can also try using one of these two cleaning methods to get rid of any mold in your dishwasher.

So, how to clean moldy dishes?

Fortunately, there is an easy way to clean moldy dishes without having to spend a lot of time or energy. All you need is some vinegar and baking soda.

To clean your dishes with vinegar and baking soda, first mix together equal parts vinegar and baking soda in a bowl. Then, dip a sponge into the mixture and scrub the moldy dishes. The vinegar and baking soda will kill the mold and help to remove any residue. If you have a dishwasher, you can also use vinegar and baking soda to clean your dishwasher. Just add 1/2 cup of vinegar and 1/2 cup of baking soda to the dishwasher’s detergent compartment and run a normal cycle.

The vinegar and baking soda mixture is also great for cleaning other surfaces, like countertops and bathrooms. So, next time you have some moldy dishes or even moldy appliances, remember that all you need is vinegar and baking soda to clean them. Cleaning mold with vinegar and baking soda is an easy way to save time, money, and energy. Not only are your dishes going to look great again, but you won’t have to worry about getting sick from the mold. So, the next time you have some moldy dishes, give vinegar and baking soda a try!

Also, you can try this too:

Fill a sink with hot water and dish soap. Add the dishes and let them soak for about 30 minutes. Then, scrub them with a sponge and rinse with hot water. If there is still some mold on the dishes, repeat the process. This method should work for most types of mold. Wipe down any surfaces that may have been exposed to mold spores (countertops)  with a disinfectant. Be sure to read the instructions on the disinfectant before use.

Use a bleach solution to disinfect any surface that has come into contact with mold spores (countertop) . Check the label on your chosen bleach solution to ensure that it is safe for this use and follow all instructions. Never mix bleach with other household cleaners, as this could create a dangerous and harmful chemical reaction.

If you have any questions about how to clean moldy dishes, please contact your local health department for more information.

If you have ever had the displeasure of encountering mold on your dishes, you know that it is not an easy task to clean them. Not only does the mold make your dishes look unappetizing, but it can also be dangerous to your health.
